The Power Of The Heart
Do you listen to your heart?
Do you focus on the heart when it comes to assessing an individual's character and motivation? Many of us do...such as he/she has a big heart, warm and open heart; this signifies a person that will be motivated to go the extra mile and be loving, caring, empathic, emotional, courageous and wise etc.
Then we have the opposite where people are closed or cold hearted, and then there is a tendency to not trust, and to be wary of their true motives. You associate cold heartedness to being ruthless, unkind, unforgiving, selfish, unemotional and it goes on.
Did you know that recently contemporary scientists have started to explore the influence of the heart and they have made some surprising discoveries:
1. The physical heart is the most powerful generator of electromagnetic energy in the human body, producing the largest rhythmic electromagnetic field of any of the body's organs. 2. The heart's electrical field is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the electrical activity generated by the brain. 3. The heart's electrical field can be measured by an electrocardiogram (ECG), and can be detected anywhere on the surface of the body. 4. Cardiologists have found that the electromagnetic field generated by the heart is modulated by different emotional states and studies suggest the possibility that this heart field may transmit information that can be received by others. 5. The heart has been shown to be the seat of emotions and health and not the brain!!
So do our emotions rule?...
Flow to the heart of my newsletters and it will take you to my article, "Love the EVOLution in Mankind". I wrote this in October 2008. Enjoy!

P.S. Intentionally alter one's emotional state through heart focus!
The Heartmath Institute reports:
1. Both the heart and brain appears to receive and respond to intuitive information and that the heart appears to receive the information FIRST before the brain.
2. A significantly greater heart rate deceleration occurred prior to future emotional stimuli compared to calm stimuli.
3. There were significant gender differences in the processing of prestimulus information and women seem more attuned to intuitive information from the heart. (888)612-4442 Ultimate Wellness, LLC CoachCyndi@onebox.com
